Erik Vis
Erik Vis is an aquaculture executive with more than 20 years of global
fish farming experience. He has led offshore aquaculture operations
across Saudi Arabia, Hawaii, Panama, Singapore, and Japan, specializing
in barramundi, yellowtail, cobia, and marine tilapia. Erik holds an MSc in
Aquaculture from Wageningen University and is known for developing
sustainable production systems worldwide. |

İbrahim Aksu
İbrahim Aksu is the founder of Bionur Biotechnology, developing sustainable
solutions for agriculture and animal husbandry. An engineer and
entrepreneur from Erzurum, Türkiye, he holds a PhD in Electrical &
Electronic Engineering from the University of Nottingham and has extensive
biomedical R&D experience, including bioarray and electronic microarray
chip development with Nanogen.

Nina Coolsaet
Nina is the owner of Nutrifocus, a Belgium-based advisory firm specialized
in fish, crustacean, and cell nutrition, with 30 years of experience in
aquaculture. She works worldwide with feed and raw material companies,
helping them with product development, driven by a passion for nutrition
and innovation. Background: Bio-engineer in cell and gene biotechnology
and MSc in aquaculture.

Olivier Hartz
Olivier has worked in sales and commercial operations across the
feed, petfood, food and pharmaceutical sectors for nearly 30 years,
more than 20 of them at Japan's Ajinomoto in Europe. His experience
across amino acids, speciality ingredients, alternative proteins and
fermentation co-products gives him a broad overview of the
fermentation industry. |

Rudi Bijnens
Rudi Bijnens is a highly experienced executive with extensive expertise in
commercial and business development. An Industrial Engineer by training,
he specializes in aquaculture, seafood, and biosciences. Throughout his
career, he has focused on marketing, sales, and business development in
international B2B environments, successfully driving business growth while
keeping customers at the center of every strategy.

Dr Wesley Malcorps
Wes co-founded Blue Food Performance to empower the seafood sector with
science-based sustainability strategies that deliver measurable business value.
He has a PhD from the Institute of Aquaculture (University of Stirling, UK) and is
passionate about aquaculture value chains, sustainable growth strategies, byproduct utilisation, traceability, and digitalisation. He is involved in various
aquaculture projects delivering sustainability improvements globally. |

Yann Le Gal
Yann is a seafood industry professional with extensive experience and a passion
for aquaculture. As Business Development Manager at Veramaris since 2020, he
supports customers across EME while working with value-chain stakeholders to
advance sustainable aquaculture and increase access to healthy seafood.
Veramaris is renowned for its pioneering work in producing ASC-MSC certified
microalgae oil, a natural source of Omega-3 rich in both EPA and DHA. Prior to
Veramaris, Yann held several roles in the aquaculture sector, including Mowi. | |

Yusuf Islam Özkan
Mr. Yusuf Islam Özkan is a board member and General Counsel at
Phytaxis Türkiye. Mr. Özkan is leading the overall operations,
market growth, distributor relations and legal affairs of Phytaxis
Türkiye for over two years. He holds an LL.B. from Marmara
University and M.A. from Istanbul University, and pursues a Ph.D. in
Fiscal Law at Istanbul University. |

Dr Enrico Bachis
Dr Enrico Bachis is Market Research Director at IFFO, The Marine
Ingredients Organisation, where he leads market intelligence and
analysis on global marine ingredients markets. Since joining IFFO in
2009, he has helped develop the organisation’s data services and
market research activities for the fishmeal and fish oil sector. He holds
a Political Science degree from the University of Cagliari, and an MSc
and PhD from the University of Nottingham.

Hüseyin Sevgili is a fish nutrition and aquaculture scientist at Isparta
University of Applied Sciences, Türkiye. His research focuses on aquafeed
formulation, nutrient and energy requirements, alternative protein and
lipid sources, digestibility, bioenergetics, and sustainable production. He
has contributed to numerous national and international collaborative
research projects |

Prof. Dr. Cüneyt SUZER
Prof. Dr. Cüneyt SUZER has been working at Ege University Faculty of Fisheries
more than 30 years, Department of Aquaculture and currently being head of
Department of Aquaculture. He has been specifically studying on marine fish
culture of common species (sea bass and sea bream) and promising candidate
species, digestive mechanism and enzyme activity, larval and juvenile digestive
physiology, larval organogenesis and physiology, gene expression profiling related
to fish nutrition larval quality.
